    Srinagar


    Srinagar is situated on the Jhelum River bank in Jammu & kashmir state.Srinagar is a summer capital of the state.main attraction is 'Dal lake'.you can enjoy a boatride in 'shikaara'or can stay in a 'Houseboat'.there are two Islands in the lake-Nehru park & Chaar chinaar.other spots are-Nagin lake, Nishaat bagh,Shalimaar bagh,Botanical garden,Chashm-e-shahi(garden),Pari mahal,Suleman Pahad,Hazrat bal,Lal Chauk(market),Hari Parvat fort etc.
    Srinagar is connected by NH from Jammu.regular flights are available from the airport.newly opened Railway link is there.snowfall between Dec to March.
