Famous Hill Station of West Bengal.famous for Tea-Estates.situated at the height of 7000ft.mall road is the main tourist attraction of the city.other spots are-Tiger Hill,P.Naidu Zoo,Museum,Mountainering Institute,Happy valley tea-estate.The World famous Toy-Train was started from here to New Jalpaiguri on 04.07.1881.It took 8-9 hrs.to complete its journey.The second Highest Station of the World is Ghoom,next to Darjeeling.
Darjeeling is well connected by Road.Nearest Broad guage Railway station is New Jalpaiguri/Siliguri and nearest Airport is Bagdogra.(season-March to June)
