    The Fourth Guru of Sikhs,Guru Ram Das,who had initially constructed a pool here,fonded Amritsar.The city lies on the main G.T.Road,built by Sher Shah Suri.major attraction is 'Golden Temple'(Harmandir Sahib)& Durgiana Temple.The'Guru ka Langar' offers free food to all visitors regardless of colour,caste & gender.Jalianwala Bagh is also famous among tourists.On April13,1919,Gen.Dyer opened fire on the gathering here.Wagah border famous for the Beating Retreat & the Change of the Guard ceramony.Ram Bagh is a beautiful Garden ,built in the memory of Guru Ram Das.Amritsar is well connected by Road,Rail with all major cities in India & by Air with many International Cities.
